Hi Minnie, I have a 4-year old daughter named Meher who was born on 1st october 2005. I feel very strongly about the unfortunate loss of your daughter, May her soul rest in peace. I feel the only place you will find console is our prayers. What goes around comes around, and whoever is responsible will get what he/she deserves but revenge is not the solution. I strongly believe that you will definitely find consolation by praying regularly and having complete faith on God. God Bless!

Hi Minnie,
I am really very sorry to hear about your Meher. I have a 5 month old daughter born 16 Oct 2009 named Meher and my heart feels very strongly about whatever happened. My only consolation to you is to have faith in god and please dont think he is not watching what happened or that he is silent. He is not!!! His stick might not make a noise when it hits but hwn it hits the pain can surely be felt. I strongly believe that heaven and hell are here and nowhere else and what goes around comes around. Justice will be done but the time, place and method will be decided by Dadar Hormazd and no one else. Please dont live in pain and trauma and have faith in god. Enjoy the good times with Natasha and am sure you will see your Meher in her. Children are the most precious asset we have and it is only when we get kids that we realize their value in our lives. I will pray to god to give you peace and hope that you and natasha live a long and healthy life. Amen!

I ready your letter. I can’t imagine your grief. However, I strongly believe the prayer will give you peace. Please try and not think of revenge, cause it will only make you more misrable.

For the last 14 years I am struggling withthe grief that engulfs me over the loss of my 19 years old daughter’s murder.
My Meher was a very loving and kind soul who would not harm anybody and yet she suffered great pain for 6 days from burns inflicted on her before sarosh yazad claimed her soul.
There is no doubt that she was destroyed by the very person who should have been her protector and her five month old Natasha robbed of a mother’s love permanently.
I keep asking Lord Ahura Mazda for justice – three people have suffered effects of this horrendous crime; myself, my grand daughter and my child who lost her life by placing her trust and honour in a husband who did not value her and is enjoying his life as if he had swatted a fly out of his way.
I know and believe with all my heart that there is no escape from consequences of our actions but I am still living in pain and the trauma of it haunts me every moment of my life.

thank you for this piece of advice it has gone a long way to calm me.

thank you for sending us such mails…. its indeed very comforting and somehow this is exactly what i think ….. i too went through lots of problems and when i sat in front of my small fire which i light while in my “dadgah” like structure while i am in gholvad, I got this almost same revelation when i cried and cried and asked God why these things happened to me….
the second third and fourth were especially revealed to me while praying….
I am indeed so thankful to Ahura Mazda to have given me the good mind to persue our religion in toto and not bow to charlatans whom so many of my relatives and friends prescribed….
each time i have borne afflictions, physical or mental i ALWAYS come out stronger and stronger emotionally and spiritually and get a new high over Ahriman…
